4-28-26 THOUGHTS
Some passage areas demand our frequent return! Discipline and stability are noted as good characteristics in our reading. We are to walk in Christ, firmly rooted, and established in faith and overflowing with gratitude. Our completeness is in Christ where all authority dwells. We find a beautiful statement that IN CHRIST, ALL THE FULNESS OF DEITY DWELLS IN BODILY FORM! John 14:9 “ Jesus said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and [yet] you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how [can] you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”
Col 2:5-10 For even though I am absent in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good discipline and the stability of your faith in Christ. 6 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;
Our Prayer:
Help us, Father, to see the fulness of Jesus and desire powerfully to be like Him. We want to truly see You our God and Father. Teach us what “ALL” means as we strive to serve You with joy and thanksgiving. We love and lift You up our God. In the Savior’s name, Amen.
